About the Goodyear Foundation
The Goodyear Foundation is a Wyoming-based nonprofit initiative — currently pursuing 501(c)(3) status with the IRS — created to bring more hope, health, and opportunity to real people in real communities. The Foundation focuses on youth, elders, families, and people navigating chronic illness, including CADASIL, through accessible education, nervous system regulation tools, storytelling, and practical resources. It does not provide medical treatment; instead, it helps people find language, tools, and support while pointing them toward reputable medical and mental health resources.

Dalton Goodyear
Founder, Goodyear Foundation
Dalton Goodyear founded the Goodyear Foundation after two experiences that shaped how he sees mental health and chronic illness: losing his father to suicide at age six, and later watching his own family navigate CADASIL, a rare inherited brain condition. Before starting the Foundation, he built businesses in hospitality and real estate in Sheridan, Wyoming, where the Foundation is based today. He's available to speak on youth and elder mental health, CADASIL and rare-disease caregiving, and the experience of building a nonprofit in public, in real time.
